"I want to be a state officer because I want to still be heavily involved in the FFA. I do not want this year to have been my last year making memories while wearing the blue jacket. I also want to become an Arizona FFA State Officer because I want to help others find a love for this organization just like I did. Running for state office is the next up in bleeding blue and gold. When I began my freshman year of highschool I wanted to be a chapter officer, I looked up to the current officers and did all I could to learn from them. When I found out that you could become a state officer later that year, I did all I could for the next few years to prepare myself to be a state officer. I signed up for every event my chapter allowed, I went to every meeting and even sat in on the chapter officer meetings. My junior and senior year I became President of my chapter. I fell in love with being a respected leader, and building relationships with my chapter members. Being a State FFA Officer would widen my opportunity to spread my love for being a leader, building relationships with others, and advocating for agriculture.”
