CONFERENCE DESCRIPTIONS

The objectives of the conference are to share many of the benefits of FFA, increase knowledge of first year activities, develop agricultural career awareness, and design an individual personal plan of involvement to help guide the student through his/her first year of agriculture education enrollment. |

The Elevate conference will focus on a student’s individual development with an emphasis on identifying their leadership qualities in an effort to better enable them to facilitate personal growth and set goals. Attendees will identify their personal leadership qualities as well as develop a plan for utilizing those qualities to become a contributing member of their FFA Chapter, school and community.

The Ascend will focus on a student’s interactions with others and will include relationship building, maintaining relationships, serving others and refilling their own personal cup. Attendees will develop a deep understanding of the factors that contribute to relationships, both positive and negative, and how to strengthen those relationships.
